All dancers in leaps and turns must have previous jazz experience. Students in leaps and turns II should be working towards a double pirouette, able to execute right and left leg saute chats, battements, chaine turns, pique turns. 4th - 12th grade *Students enrolled in Leaps and Turns or Stretch and Strength must also be enrolled in an additional dance class.Junior/Pre-Teen Teal Company

Leaps and Turns VThis class is for Senior Company dancers. Jazz class focusing on technique, leaps, turns, flexibility and strength. All dancers in leaps and turns must have previous jazz experience. Tumbling IIIEnrollment in this class is based on prerequisite skills. Please carefully read the description before enrolling. ODA staff reserves the right to move improperly enrolled students to the correct level. Students will begin transitioning to front and back walkovers. Students will begin working on power tricks, strength tricks, and learning the fundamentals for future tricks, as well as working towards the back extension roll. Prerequisite skills: all Tumbling I-II skills, able to kick over from a backbend, stand up from backbend unassisted. Dress code: All female participants should wear a leotard and shorts or a biketard. No shoes, socks or tights. Male participants should wear a fitted top and shorts or pants. Hair must always be pulled back from the face and off the shoulders (ponytail, bun, braid, etc.)By skill
Tumbling II/IIIA combination of levels 2 & 3. Students will continue to perfect tumbling skills from level 2 such as handstand forward roll, backbend stand up, and front limbers to standing, while also learning the new tumbling skills in level 3 such as back extension rolls, an assortment of font and back walkovers and arabians, while also incorporating harder strength and flexibility training. Prerequisite skills: all Tumbling I-II skills, able to kick over from a backbend, stand up from backbend unassisted. Prerequisite skills: Understanding of basic tumbling tricks (Tumbling I skills- cartwheel, forward roll, handstand, flexibility), little to no assistance needed going down to a backbend. Dance Team PrepThe class focused on skills and styles needed on a high school or collegiate dance team. Students in Dance Team Prep must have taken Intro to Dance Team Prep (or be a current high schooler with previous jazz experience). Students in leaps and turns II/III should be working towards a double pirouette, able to execute right and left leg saute chats, battements, chaine turns, pique turns. 4th - 12th grade *Students enrolled in Leaps and Turns or Stretch and Strength must also be enrolled in an additional dance class.4th-12th grade
Ballet II/IIITraditional ballet class following progressive curriculum for dancers 4th-12th grade. Dancers must have completed Ballet I. Dress code: Female dancers: black leotard and pink tights (ballet skirt optional- no athletic skorts, shorts, leggings, etc.), pink ballet shoes. Male dancers: black fitted pants and white t-shirt or tank top, black ballet shoes.5th-12th grade
Musical Theatre Dance IBroadway style jazz/dance class. Technique, choreography from musicals and performance expression will be explored. Dress Code: Any fitted dancewear or leotard, tan jazz shoes.3rd-6th grade

Lyrical IIIBallet and Jazz fuse to create this expressive class. This is not a jazz/ballet technique class, therefore dancers are strongly encouraged to take Jazz or Ballet with Lyrical. Dancers in Lyrical III should have prior lyrical, jazz, and ballet experience. 25-26 Pre-Teen Company dancers are eligible of this class. Dress code: Any fitted dancewear or leotard, tan jazz shoes.4th-12th grade
Leaps and Turns IVJazz class focusing on technique, leaps, turns, flexibility and strength. All dancers in leaps and turns must have previous jazz experience. Students in leaps and turns IV should be working towards a clean triple pirouette, right and left leg saute chats, center leaps, battements, chaine and pique turns changing spots, a la second turns, switch leaps. 7th - 12th grade *Students enrolled in Leaps and Turns or Stretch and Strength must also be enrolled in an additional dance class.Teen Purple Company + others
