At Ovation Dance Academy, we strive to provide each individual student with the tools they need to succeed. We recognize every child’s unique learning style and potential. Goals are set for the individual child, rather than an entire class. We want each child to walk away feeling confident and knowing they were able to do THEIR best and reach their unique goals.
We offer classes tailored to our youngest students ages 2 through Pre-K.
Upper Academy classes are offered in a variety of styles and disciplines aimed at developing strong technique, performance, and skills. These classes are for beginning to advanced students 3rd-12th grade.
Combo classes give our early elementary students a taste of two styles in one class! Lower Academy dance classes are for students K-2nd grade.
The ODA Tumbling Academy works on a progressive curriculum. Tumblers develop the technical foundation needed to safely execute tumbling skills from a beginning to advanced level. These classes are based on skill level for students K-12th grade.
Ovation Dance Academy Company Dancers are elite dancers, ages 5 to 18 who are ready to take their training to the next level through advanced classes, performance opportunities and dance competitions. These individuals should be strong performers, hard workers, and technically advanced dancers.
ODA Squads are our invitation based performing troupes. Squads perform at two local dance competitions, Company Showcase, recital and other community events. All Squad members should also enroll in at least one additional Academy class.
The ODA Company Dancers are Ovation’s elite level intensive performing and competitive team. These dancers perform at three regional and one national competition, Company Showcase, recital, and other community events. Class requirements vary based on level. Selection is determined by audition in June.
