Ovation Company and Squad Dancers in 4th- 12th grade who have decided to dedicate themselves to becoming the best dancer they can be!
Squad dancers excel in a particular style and improve their training and performance by participating in an elite level class and taking advantage of additional performing opportunities.
Auditions for 2026 – 2027
June 14th 2026
Dancers must fill out the Squad audition
application form by Monday, June 8.
Prospective Squad dancers must be incoming 4th-12th graders. Dancers auditioning for Hip Hop require at least one full year of training in that style.
- Dancers auditioning for Musical Theatre must have at least one full year of training in jazz or musical theatre dance.
- ALL dancers interested in joining the Hip Hop or Musical Theatre Squads must audition.
- Current and prospective Company dancers must also audition for a Squad position.
- Returning Senior Hip Hop dancers do not need to re-audition.
Students planning to audition must register through the “Special Events” listing on the Parent Portal. Dancers should wear all black dancewear, hair in a neat bun, and proper dance shoes. Dancers may choose to wear light makeup for the audition.
